Today Bullet PR is kicking off the call for entries for the 2008 National Business Review Awards for Sponsorship of the Arts. Now in their eleventh year, the Awards acknowledge those partnerships between business and the arts that demonstrate a high level of creativity, commitment and vision, as well as important business benefits. The winners will be announced by the Prime Minister at the black tie Awards Gala dinner at the Auckland Town Hall, Wednesday 30 July 2008.

The 2007 NBR Awards for Sponsorship of the Arts gala at the Auckland Town Hall were a huge success.

The NBR Arts Awards, held in partnership with Creative NZ and THE EDGE, are project managed by Bullet PR. The black tie gala was attended by the Prime Minister and 350 guests from the worlds of art and business.

Previous overall winners were acknowledged with the presentation of a specially commissioned sculpture by leading artist, Terry Stringer. Fine performances came from Dame Malvina Major, The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, Massive Theatre Company, with Ian Fraser the master of ceremonies for the evening.
