Despite the challenging times experienced by some in the retail sector, one of New Zealand’s leading furniture retailers and Bullet PR client, Freedom Furniture has bucked the trend by opening its first concept store in 10 years, located in Albany, Auckland.
Freedom offers a unique experience in design. The store is divided into ‘four worlds’ that emulate current fashion trends in furniture design - Coastal Country, Contemporary, Classic Traditional and Global. As the customer moves through each world, they can experience first-hand what each room in their house could look like designed in that theme. Every detail is covered, from sofa design right down to candles and coffee tables.

Bullet PR client, M&C Saatchi has just released the findings of international research into the behaviour of consumers during the economic downturn. As the NZ Herald reports, “Only 25 per cent of New Zealanders felt pessimistic about the economy, compared with 36 per cent of Australians and 64 per cent of Britons.”
